What it is
The directory lists US companies, power plants and sites across the whole industry, from fuel and reactor developers to waste, research and investors. It also shows how they are connected: who owns, operates, supplies or buys from whom.
How it's built
A fact is published only with a public source: a regulator or agency record, a filing, the party's own announcement, or named news or trade reporting. A power deal, investment or award needs a regulator, filing or party source. Directories and aggregators are leads, never sources.
A person checks each fact against its source before it goes live. Each page lists its sources and shows when it was last checked. Corrections are checked against the source before anything changes. Read the disclaimer too.
How to use the data
Every published fact is free to download as CSV or JSON from the data page, which also has the schema. The data is open under CC BY 4.0: reuse it with credit. The code is open source under the MIT License. Short source quotations stay the property of their owners.
To cite the dataset, name the release you used and the day you downloaded it: Nuclear Directory (2026), doi:10.5281/zenodo.23703377. That DOI covers every release. Each release has its own version DOI on Zenodo, and its README gives the full citation.
Who runs it
